Je n'ai personnellementpas réussi à installer cette appli via adept j'ai donc téléchargé le tar sur http://www.vmware.com/download/player/ sur mon bureaudans un terminal

génération d'un vmx pour debian
Le moyen le plus simple reste de passer par le mode "super simple" http://www.easyvmx.com et de renseigner les paramètres somme suit:
le fichier zip généré est téléchargeable ici.
Il suffit simplement ensuite d'ouvrir le fichier debian.vmx avec vmware player en mettant le CD d'install dans le lecteur CD-Rom.
Installation de debian etch
- "!choose langage" -> French
- "!!choose langage" -> France
- "!!choisir la disposition du clavier'' -> Français (fr-latin9)
- Détection du matériel ...
- "!configurer le réseau nom de la machine" -> "admin.domain.tld"
